sunlit steeple   Home What We Believe Who We Are Ministries Activities Find Us Copyright 2012 Midway Memorial United Methodist Church A ministry of the Church and Community Renewal Project A ministry of the Church and Community Renewal Project Serving the families of inmates in Scott County For children in the Holston Conference and in Africa Located in Greeneville, Tennessee On the first Sunday of each month we collect snack cakes and crackers to take to the Oncology Department of Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital located in Kingsport, Tennessee, as an outreach ministry from our church. Two church members, Lana Stallard and Barbara Gillenwater volunteer weekly at the Oncology Department in Kingsport.  Don’t forget to bring your snack cakes and crackers to the church the first Sunday of each month! The Midway Memorial United Methodist Church food bank provides food to low income families in Scott County.  Food distribution is held on the third Monday of each month from 10am - 12 noon.  Individuals and families can apply for food boxes at the time of the distribution.  If you would like more information on eligibility requirements please contact the church office at 276-452-2412.  Each month our food bank serves approximately 120 households, representing over 400 individuals, with approximately 200 boxes of food being distributed to households in Scott County.
